Almost a week has gone by and it is still hard to believe that Kátjusá will no longer be there, when we come to Dünfus for the next time. She will no longer lie in the court-yard or in the garden and tell us with her very special Kátjusá barking, that someone unauthorizedly approached the yard gate. She will no longer dig for mice in the fields, as she used to do until her last weeks of life, together with the two boys, Primoz and Osiris, and she will no longer march determinedly into the midth of each and every puddle. While she became more silent and more quiet and enjoyed to spend long times alone and sleeping. She left us on the 29th of June 2001, short before her 11th birthday.
Kátjusá lives on in her youngest grandchildren Samun, Sarim, Sekan, Shadia, Shalima, Sinan, Syretha.
Kátjusá missed Lázár very much since his unexpected death in March 2001 and we want to believe that they are now united again. We imagine that the two of them are running across cloud meadows now. Kátjusá lives on in her youngest grandchildren Samun, Sarim, Sekan, Shadia, Shalima, Sinan, Syretha, beautiful whelps of her son Quadragon. Vivid, curious and trusting they are now ready to do their first step into the life of a grown-up Kuvasz: They will soon leave Dünfus and spend their first day in their new families.
It is good to know that Jüjüs granddaughter Shadia, little princess and madcab among Püppis and Quadragons puppies, is going to stay in the Eifel.
